Setsuna Sakurazaki - Negima!

Costume Summary: I really had alot of fun making this costume. Most of it that had to be made was crafted by hand. (yes, not a sewing machine) A considerable amount came together the week prior to MTAC. Yeah, I procrastinate alot. XD

Costume Components:
Jacket: Purchased from Goodwill. (Came with a skirt--will be used later)
Vest: Made from the skirt above. Half machine sewed by a friend, finished by hand by me.
Shirt: My old white button up shirt. Very comfy!
Tie: Made from Quilt binding.
Skirt: Hand sewn without a pattern. I did it while watching the entire season of Genshiken.
Socks: Old socks that match a pair of boots I have.
Shoes: Second hand shoe store.
Sword: Hollowed out a piece of bamboo by sawing a section off and then fashioned a blade out of wood. Fully workable. (Thanks to my husband!)
Sword Bag: Made with no-sew reinforced with some mild sewing at the bottom. Used a curtain tieback for the strap/holding the sword in the bag.
Hair: Black hair dye + straightening (didn't work so well, it rained) + glue + insane strength gel @.@
