Chinese Zodiac
The Chinese Zodiac is featured in Furuba, but what is it really? The Chinese Zodiac is the longest chronoligical record in history dating all the way back to 2637 B.C. One cycle takes 60 years and a cycle consists of 5 smaller cycles of 12 years each. Our current cycle, the 78th, started in Feburary of 1984 and will continue until 2044.
There are five basic elements to the Chinese Zodiac: Fire, Water, Wood, Earth, and Metal which make up the 12 Zodiac animals: Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Sheep, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Boar.
